The Emotions

The Emotions were one of the finest female vocal groups of the 1970s and enjoyed a string of hits, including the No. 1 smash "Best of My Love." Their mid-to-late '70s sound was produced by Maurice White of Earth, Wind & Fire fame, but their edge goes back to their earlier, earthier Stax recordings, which kept the sophisticated Soul sound of the '60s alive.
