I'm 33yrs old,I definetley remember when i heard thriller.I loved say,say,say!!!I must say with my own opinion,we all make mistakes,but not all of us are as humble as Micheal Jackson,the world wouldn't be the same without his presence he left behind.

Micheal was one of the very first concerts I ever went to when i was a child in the year of 1972 when he appeard in Colombia SC and he Danced and sanged with his brothers but he caught the peoples eye with his young dance moods and singing . As a young black youth, I grew up with Michael. Of course I knew him from what I saw on television and read and seen in the magazines, but he didn't know me. Michael and the Jackson Five represented a kind of hope that was so very much needed for me, and I am sure other black male youths during that time. Their role in bridging the minority gap was also so monumental I don't think it cam be measured. Then, they fell off, and Michael emerged. Wow! I was so estatic for him! Yes-I shared that victory with him also, and talking about bringing people together! I was fortunate enough to see Michael and his brothers twice-once-early as the Jackson Five, and again with his brothers during the "Victory" tour. Hey listen, I am sure they have heard of Micheal on other planets, so let's send him up there, and maybe they can send him back to us. I'm serious-Bill Gates!

Michael Jackson was a musical genius. I will forever celebrate his memory and his contributions to not only the music industry, but the legacy he created through his selfless humanitarian efforts.

A lot of people felt like they lost a brother when Michael Jackson died. I am one of those people. When I was young of course I imitated Michael as did every other kid. Michael is the reason I sing, write, engineer (recording engineer) and act today. First time I saw him was Motown 25 and I thought to myself, I have to do that, I want to do what he is doing the rest of my life. So, I went out and bought books and videos on him over the years and just became his biggest fan. He was always apart of my life, his music got me through being at home alone when my mother had to work at night, got me through friends being killed in the street, got me through me being sick all the time. I would watch his dvd's and try to work as hard as he did. When I heard he had died it just brought back a truck load of memories, how me and my now deceased little sister would be singing and she was my background singer and dancer. I remember my mother telling me she stood out in the rain to get tickets so that we could see him in concert. I mean Micheal shaped the music for the last 40 some years, music would be nothing like it is if it had not been for Michael. I just feel like part of my world is gone. I know some people don't give a damn, he wasn't related to them, so it's like what the hell. But, there will never be a star like that again, he changed our whole world, from every corner of this world, people knew who he was. No other artist is known like that, no other artist did what he did. He is the reason african americans are on mtv and vh1, hell if Michael had never sang we probably wouldn't even have Barack Obama as president. Michael Jackson was out of this world and really too big for this world. There's a lot more I could say about him, but some stuff I would rather just know and not even share. I did go to neverland as an adult twice and it was the most peaceful place I ever visited. No fighting, no sirens, no bullshit. I didn't know him, but he was a major part of my life and damn, he's gone forever. My little sister is gone and now my idol, my very first idol is gone.

Michael Jackson was truly a legend in his own time. To be so gifted at such a young age and continue to be so talented for a number of years was truly fantastic and a rare gift. I'm glad we were able to enjoy him for as long as we did. It's still hard to believe he is gone but he will never be forgotten. Two days before we were hit by the sad news, I was thinking about him, the way he has submitted himself to the power of white men, the surgeries he submitted himself, what strong pressures have hitted him, and how he dwelt with them. How unfair was the white world. He was a child when I was,and I identified myself with him, in sensitivity, and weekness, while his music at that time spoke deep to my soul. And I followed his life, what he became, and thought if I was submitted to the pressure he was, would I do things differently? If I submit for much less, what would I do if the whole world was looking to me, in a world where the color of your skin tells your worth? Can anyone condemn him? For me he was a child, still, just like me, sensitive, trying to have hapiness, failling sometimes, fragile, but very much loved, trying to do his best, like the rest of us. I wish he's in peace now.

When I first heard we loss Michael I felt like I loss a part of myself, the next day I felt like part of our country was loss, now I feel like part of the world is loss. That part now fills the heavens. Earth is not the same and will never be the same without you Mike. Today I listen to your song called "speechless" over and over again, now I know what don't stop until you get enough really mean.

My brother told me the news via telephone call, when I came in Thursday night at around 10.15pm I had been so busy, I had been out all day and had very strangly, not heard a thing that Michael Jackson had died, I was very shocked, and all my family was shocked to hear of his death too. We grew up listening to his music, he was like family. " You have definately gone to a much better place than here on earth! God takes his people when he sees that the wicked ones of the world are too much against them. I know what it is like to be lied against, but as the saying goes, "what goes around, comes around!"

Michael. You were the most amazing person I got to know of. Not did you just own the stage, you were such a kind, loving, and caring person. You did so much for the world and gave so many people better lives. I hope that you get a better life in the hereafter. You deserve it. May God have mercy on you and forgive you for any sins you may have comitted. May you get a great reward. I hate to see the nasty things that some of the media have written about him. In life you say what you want, and he can answer back, and on most occasions he had chosen to stay silent because such things are--or now, were below his dignity. I miss Michael very much and feel at a loss. I am sorry that he will not be visiting Great Britain to fulfill his concert obligations here. I remember first hearing the Jackson 5 when I was in 7th grade and I was one of their biggest fans.
I remember seeing them at the Circle Star Theater back in the 70's and I am so glad I have that memory along with so many others that will stay with me.

It was a wondeful farwell to Micheal Jackson...And it was nice to see all the stars/celeb's come to call and stand up for the legend Micheal Jackson..I was just wondering where they all where in his time of need? When he was being accused and torn apart rip to shreads..Makes one wonder doesn't it...The only ones you really saw was his mother, and family...The hardest part of watching his memorial cereomony was Micheals daughter sharing her love for her dad and listening to his actual voice and asking will you still be there in all my trials,tribulation,up's & downs,good and bad Just everything he went through...And you know I didn't see any of them that was on that stage other than his family....Where were all these people who loved him when he was killing himself? here was this fragile person and there was not one person strong enough to say no!..So the word yes killed our king of pop and he was lost because no one was strong enough to say no! either way it's to late can't go back now and now he is loved and everyones there for him now !!! But Hey they were there in the end after he took his last breath and there was no life in him..

What a wonderful role model Michael was to all! Did not matter what age or race his talent for dancing, his love for music, we all found something about Michael Jackson that we loved. I can still remember in 1972 my fav song by Michael was "Dancing Machine" Oh how it made me dance....We would as a group park by the sand and turn on his music!
